The following point of lay pullets are usually available for sale.

All chickens are reared to Freedom Food Standards, are fully vaccinated and have full traceability.

Please contact us for current prices and availability.

If you come intending to purchase pullets, please bring either a pet carrier, cardboard box or dog crate.

AMBER STAR

 

This bird lays around 320 eggs a year. A lovely placid creamy white bird with various shades of amber markings.

£11.50 each.

 

BLACK STAR

 
Our beautiful Black Star is bred from a Rhode Island Cockerel and a Barred Plymouth Rock Female. Laying around 290 - 300 brown eggs per year, she really is a stunning bird, being very hardy and placid. Ideal for all free range conditions.

BLUEBELLE ™

 

Our Bluebelle lays around 260 brown eggs a year. She is a very placid, pale blue grey bird who would stand out well in a mixed flock.

GOLD STAR RANGER

Our Gold Star is a Rhode Island x Light Sussex.  She lays an abundance of brown eggs and continually proves how placid and hardy she is.

SUSSEX STAR

A lovely old fashioned style bird, white with black markings around her neck and tail.  Lays approximately 260 brown eggs per year.

WHITE STAR

A beautiful white leghorn, laying 300 - 320 white eggs per year. A petite little ballerina. Often ends up on your shoulders.

SPECKLED STAR

 
A barred feathered bird crossed with a barred Plymouth Rock and a Rhode Island Red. Lays a lovely brown egg.

BLACK ROCK

 
The docile Black Rock will produce 280 + brown eggs in the first year and persistently good throughout lay.  The Black Rock comes from the Muirfield Hatchery in Scotland.
